Tuition and Fees
The tuition and fee structure is determined each year by the governing board of the YSSO.
The 2011-2012 non-refundable tuition for Youth Symphony is $275, Youth Orchestra is $250 and Youth Strings is $225.
Each eligible Concerto Competition participant will pay a $25 non-refundable fee beginning with the 2012 Competition. This fee and other fees (such as retreat/extended rehearsal fees and others) may not be included in an application for a partial/full tuition waiver. Although tuition assistance is available upon application and approval of the YSSO, a minimum tuition fee payment of $25 for all musicians cannot be waived.
Each musician receives a registration packet that includes all
registration forms and information at his/her annual audition. The forms must be completed, signed and turned in at the first rehearsal of the season.
