Financial Assistance
All qualified musicians may participate in the YSSO regardless of financial circumstances. Partial or full tuition waiver scholarships (excluding any annual fee for retreats/extended rehearsals, the $25 Concerto Competition fee for participants and an annual $25 tuition fee all musicians pay) are available to current YSSO musicians upon submission and approval of a Scholarship Assistance request form. The 2011-2012 YSSO Tuition Scholarship Assistance Request Form will be available in late August 2011. Each year, the YSSO seeks support from foundations, individuals and other funding sources to help underwrite Scholarship Assistance for YSSO musicians.
