The Youth Symphony of Southern Oregon is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing
young people in Southern Oregon with opportunities to expand their
knowledge of classical music by learning and performing challenging
repertoire.
The mission of the YSSO is to provide exceptional performance
experiences under the leadership of professional conductors and
music coaches and to foster a lifelong appreciation of classical
music and the arts.

The Spring Concert Series will feature the Youth Symphony performing three movements from Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5, Op. 64. Youth Orchestra will play Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty (waltz from the ballet) and Introduction & March from Symphony No. 6, as well as Rimsky-Korsakov’s Procession of the Nobles. Youth Strings will perform works by Mozart and Phillips.
Tickets are $5.00 for students/seniors and $10.00 for adults and are available at Paddington Station (Ashland) and Larry’s Music ( Medford and Grants Pass). Tickets for the May 18 performance are also available through the Craterian Theater’s box office. More Information
