Hana Sushi Restaurant in Ashland
Youth Symphony of Southern Oregon organization friends and families who purchase meals at Hana Sushi Restaurant, 29 North Main Street (on The Plaza) in Ashland, on Tuesdays from January 31, 2012, through February 28, 2012, will help support the programs and performances of the YSSO. The restaurant will donate 25 percent of the value of purchases to the YSSO. The YSSO governing board, staff and musicians extend their gratitude to

2012 Silent Auction
The YSSO governing board's 2012 Silent Auction will feature an array of items donated by numerous local businesses, individuals and major corporations. Bidding will take place at the Winter 2012 Concert Series evening performance at the Craterian Theater in Medford on Saturday, February 18, 2012, and the matinee performance at the SOU Music Recital Hall in Ashland on Sunday, February 19, 2012. Bidding will close at intermission at the Sunday concert. Winning bidders need not be present to win. The YSSO board will contact winners.

2012 Food & Wine Pairing

Al and Virginia Silbowitz, owners of Grizzly Peak Winery, will again host a Wine & Food Pairing to benefit the Youth Symphony of Southern Oregon organization. The event will feature classical music performed by several musicians in Youth Symphony, food and wine in an extraordinary setting.
The Wine & Food Pairing will take place from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 12. Ticket information will be announced. If you are interested in attending, please call the YSSO office (541-858-8859) or click here to send an e-mail to the YSSO.

2012 Raffle
The YSSO governing board's 2012 Raffle will include items donated by individuals, businesses and corporations. Raffle tickets will be available from many of the YSSO organization musicians and at the Spring Concert Series performances. The drawing will take place at intermission at the final performance of the 2011-2012 season.

Mucho Gusto Restaurant
Friends of the Youth Symphony of Southern Oregon organization who purchased meals at Mucho Gusto Mexican Kitchen in Medford on November 6, 7 & 8, 2011, helped support the programs and performances of the YSSO. The restaurant donated 25 percent of the value of purchases to the YSSO. The YSSO extends its thanks and appreciation to
Mucho Gusto for offering this fund raising opportunity to the YSSO again this season.

Third Annual YSSO Yard Sale
Members of the YSSO organization's governing board and volunteers are planning to host another rummage sale to benefit the YSSO. The event will help encourage spring cleaning and support a wonderful organization. Date, time and location to be announced.
