Registration Information and Forms
The Youth Symphony of Southern Oregon holds Parent Orientation Meetings
in the fall for parents to become acquainted with each other, meet
the conductors, staff and board, submit registration forms
and payments, and learn about the organization. YSSO parents and families
are expected to understand and comply with all YSSO policies, and procedures and
expectations.
Parents sign up for a variety of important volunteer
opportunities at the meeting as well. Members of the YSSO Volunteer Steering Committee are on hand to talk about these opportunities and to schedule volunteers. YSSO families are asked to assist with at least two volunteer activities during the season in addition to providing refreshments for rehearsals at least once per year. The success of the Youth Symphony of
Southern Oregon is dependent upon the support and full participation of
parents and families.
Parent Orientation Meetings and Registration
for the 2010-2011 concert season will take place on Sunday, October 3, 2010, at North Medford High School.
If the annual registration forms are not turned in at regtistration, musicians and families must complete, sign and mail all forms and payments to the YSSO, P.O. Box 4291, Medford, OR 97501, by no later than October 14.
All required forms and materials, a schedule and a handbook for 2010-2011 are included in the registration packet distributed to each musician at his/her audition.
